What this site is

An independent publisher writing about road and gravel bicycles for people buying their first one. It is editorial content and general information. It is not professional advice, it is not a bike fitting, and it is not a substitute for a qualified mechanic looking at your actual bike.

What this site is not

• Not a shop.We sell nothing and handle no transactions. Every purchase happens on a retailer’s own site under their terms. Orders, payment, delivery, returns and warranty are entirely between you and them.
• Not a product tester. We do not own the bikes or gear on this site and have not ridden them. Every recommendation is based on published specifications and stated reasoning, which is set out in full on how we pick.
• Not a safety authority. Cycling carries risk. Nothing here replaces a properly fitted helmet, a roadworthy bike, local traffic law, or your own judgment.

Accuracy and availability

We take real care with specifications and cite where every one came from, with the date it was read. Even so:

• Manufacturers and retailers change specifications, and listings are edited without notice.
• Prices shown come from a live feed and expire after 48 hours. The price on the retailer’s site at the moment you buy is the only one that governs.
• Where a listing does not publish a figure we say “Not published” rather than estimating it. Check anything that matters to your decision against the manufacturer before you buy.

If you find something wrong, tell us — the correction policy is real and we would rather know.

Content ownership

The writing, structure, rankings and original photography selection on this site belong to Type 5 Marketing LLC. You are welcome to quote a short passage with a link back. Republishing pages wholesale, or using this content to train a commercial dataset you then sell, is not permitted without written consent.

Product images are supplied by Amazon under the Amazon Associates program and remain the property of their owners. Ambient photography is licensed stock, with provenance recorded. Brand and product names belong to their respective owners and are used descriptively; no endorsement or affiliation is implied.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to disrupt the site, scrape it at a volume that degrades it for other people, or submit anything through the contact form that is unlawful or abusive. The form is rate-limited and automated submissions are rejected.

We link to retailers, manufacturers and standards bodies. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, their terms or their privacy practices.

Liability

This site is provided as-is. To the fullest extent the law allows, Type 5 Marketing LLC is not liable for loss or damage arising from your use of it or from any purchase you make after reading it. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
